Lexi is a San Francisco based artist primarily working in gouache, watercolor, and colored pencil. Her work revolves around magic, mystery, and melancholy. She is partial to portraiture and intimate narratives of niche moments. She pulls inspiration from ghost stories, anxious thoughts, and song lyrics about heartbreak. Her work holds an underlying sadness, isolation, or rot behind a pretty veneer of opulence and frivolity.
